Bangalore: The National Alliance of People’s Movements (NAPM), Karnataka, organised a conference on human rights in the context of terrorism and communalism, here on Saturday. Held at the Indian Social Institute at Benson Town, the conference was held right after the release of “A.T. Babu – Apratima Horatagara,” a biographical sketch on the life and struggle of Babu by L.N. Gopalakrishna. The book was released by freedom fighter H.S. Doreswamy. Babu was the State president of the “Karnataka Madyapana Virodhi Samiti”. He was killed on July 21. He was also the State coordinator of NAPM. Mr. Doreswamy delivered the keynote address.
