PDS rice seized

OMALUR: A team of supply officials seized 28 bags of rice meant for supply under the public distribution system from a hut near here on Saturday.

Acting on a tip off, officials raided Karukkupatti village and found 28 bags of PDS rice hoarded in a hut and seized the rice. Further investigation was going on, sources said.
