Sahoo arrested

BHUBANESWAR: Abhaya Sahoo, who has been spearheading movement against setting up of steel plant by South Korean steel major POSCO, was arrested near port town of Paradip on Sunday. Mr. Sahoo was leading the POSCO Pratirodh Sangram Samiti (PPSS). The anti-displacement leader had been confined to Dhinkia and Gadakujanga area under Jagatsinghpur district while police could not enter the area due to people’s protest against proposed plant. SP R. K Sharma confirmed arrest of Mr. Sahoo.
