Three-day philately exhibition from today

Drawing, essay writing, quiz
and various programmes to
be conducted

CHENNAI: The Chennai City North Division of the Department of Post will conduct a divisional level philatelic exhibition for three days from Monday to mark National Postal Week.

Venue

A press release said that the exhibition will be held at Maharishi Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School on Dr.Gurusamy Road, Chetpet, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Other programmes will also be conducted as part of the exhibition.

While a drawing competition on freedom fighters will be conducted for students from class VI to XII on Monday, an essay writing competition on an educational hobby will be organised on the following day.

On Wednesday, a quiz competition on philately will be organised between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., the release said.
