Mandal president joins Praja Rajyam

G. Madugula mandal president S.V. Ramana of the Bahujan Samaj Party resigned his post and joined the Praja Rajyam party on Sunday. He was arrested when he was a member of the People’s War East Division Committee member in 1990. He later joined the BSP. An activist for Girijan rights, he went on fast in the agitation seeking redress to the women involved in the Vakapalli incident. Former mandal president and Paderu BSP president Vechchangi Kondaiah also joined the PR.
