Students’ union plea

Kozhikode: The Kozhikode Medical College Students Union has protested against stopping the search for the body of fourth-year B.Sc. (Nursing) student Shahin Abdullah who was drowned while attempting to save his friends from drowning at the Attukkad waterfalls at Munnar on Thursday. The union accused the authorities of apathy. The personnel of the Fire and Rescue Services, local people and volunteers searched on Thursday and Friday. Navy personnel conducted a search on Saturday and Sunday. — Staff Reporter
