Sonia’s rally cancelled

LUCKNOW: The proposed public meeting of the UPA Chairperson and Congress president, Sonia Gandhi in Lalganj, Rae Bareli on Tuesday will not be held as Section 144 has reportedly been imposed in the district.

When contacted, District Magistrate of Rae Bareli Santosh Kumar denied Ms. Gandhi’s rally had been banned.
