Dasmunsi critical

NEW DELHI: Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi was admitted to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences here on Monday morning in a critical condition following a heart attack. He is being treated at the Coronary Care Unit, where he is on a life support.

Mr. Dasmunsi, who is also the president of the All-India Football Federation, suffered cardiac arrest late on Sunday night and was brought to AIIMS with severe breathlessness and lung congestion. He was taken to the casualty wing, where his condition stabilised, and then shifted to the CCU.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi and several UPA Ministers visited AIIMS to enquire about his health.
