Cadbury trims workforce

LONDON: Cadbury, the world’s biggest candy maker, is trimming its workforce by 1.3 per cent as it moves to streamline operations even though it reported better third quarter sales on Tuesday. The global financial turmoil made predictions about future trading difficult, but pointed out that its business is fairly resilient by nature, the company said.
