REVIEW: Chief Electoral Officer Naresh Gupta at a meeting on preparation of final electoral rolls, in Salem on Tuesday. SALEM: The final photo electoral rolls (after delimitation) are likely to be published in several districts in the State including Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri on October 20, Chief Electoral Officer Naresh Gupta has said. The preparation of the final rolls was under progress in all the districts. The publication of final rolls might be delayed in two or three districts, he told mediapersons after participating in a review meeting with the Collectors and election officials of four districts here on Tuesday. Polling station mapsMr. Gupta said that preparation of polling station maps, in the wake of delimitation, would be carried out after the publication of final rolls. Earlier, he discussed the distribution of electors’ photo identity cards to the newly included voters and various issues with the officials from Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts.
