Promoters up stake in Gujarat NRE Coke

KOLKATA: Amid a substantial drop in the stake of foreign institutional investors (FIIs), the promoters of Gujarat NRE Coke had increased their stake from 41 per cent to 42.5 per cent through the acquisition of over 82 lakh shares till October 14. “This is proposed to be taken to about 45 per cent,” company executives told The Hindu. FII holding, which was 35 per cent of the total equity, dipped by eight per cent, sources said. — Special Correspondent
