Thumping win for JIRS

BANGALORE: Jain International Residential School (JIRS) defeated ITI Vidyamandir by 151 runs in a Boost Cup under-16 tournament match here on Wednesday.

JIRS 223 in 42.5 overs (Vishak 59, K. Nishith 50, Bharath four for 27) bt ITI Vidyamandir 72 in 30.4 overs.

Parachute Regiment School 169 in 36 overs (Nikhil 55) bt Holy Saint English School 102 in 28 overs.

Presidency School (RT Nagar) 294 for nine in 45 overs (Arun Pandey 108, Sanjit Shankar 76, Mandeep Singh 45) bt Kendriya Vidyalaya (Bidar) 62 for eight in 24.1 overs. Presidency won on better run-rate.
