Dalai Lama to be discharged today

New Delhi: Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, who underwent a surgery for gall-bladder stone removal at a hospital here, will be discharged on Thursday.

“All his vitals are stable and maintained. He is fully fit now and can be discharged tomorrow [Thursday] at 9 a.m. After undergoing laparoscopic surgery, he was waiting for the stitches to be removed and we have done that today [Wednesday],” Dr. Pradeep Chowbey, gastro-surgeon at the hospital, said. — PTI
