Air Force, Navy triumph

NEW DELHI: Indian Air Force and Indian Navy asserted their authority in the men’s section of the 47th Royal Club basketball tournament here.

The results: Men: Indian Air Force 87 (Narender 28, Shiv Raj 13, Joginder 12) beat Central Industrial Security Force 34 (Paathvishnj 11, Happy 10).

Indian Navy 84 (S. Shetty 14, S.S. Hasbe 14, Gurcharan 10, B.C. Pandey 10) beat Captains Club 47 (Harish 23).

College girls: St. Stephen’s College 42 (Raspreet 25) beat Gargi College 23.

School boys: Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, 44 (Naveen 14, Vinay 12) beat Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, 35 (Prasad 15).
