Rahul Ravi dominates

BANGALORE: It was memorable outing for the Bangalore’s Rahul Ravi who won a double in the Eagleton junior golf championship, the sixth leg of the South Zone circuit, on Wednesday.

Rahul, with a two-day total of 11-over 155, topped both Group ‘A’ (15-17 years) and Group ‘B’ (13-14).

Earlier in the JWGC championship at Mysore recently, Rahul bagged the title in Group ‘B’ and he was pipped to the post by Prafful Chand in Group ‘A’ in a play-off after both tied with score of 157.

The results: At Eagleton: Group ‘A’ (15-17 years): 1. 155 Rahul Ravi (78, 77); 2. 163 Prafful Chand (82, 81); V. Shushruth (81, 82); 4. 165 Prateek Jain (80, 85). Group ‘B’ (13-14): 1. 155 Rahul (78, 77); 2. 170 Syed Saqib Ahmed (88, 82); 3. 180 Karan Kamte (90, 90); 4. 181 Yashas Chandra (90, 91).
