Diabetes Foundation on Wednesday organised an awareness meeting with women at the Bapujinagar Community Hall to mark the World Food Day. Foundation Chairperson Anuradha Reddy spoke on low cost nutritious food.

Stating that starvation was the severest kind of poverty, she pointed out that hunger and malnutrition were not only caused by lack of food but also by denial of access to health care, education, clean water and living conditions.
