BCCI-ICL talks fail

New Delhi: Talks between officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Indian Cricket League (ICL) on the latter’s application for recognition to ICC failed on Thursday, putting a question mark on reaching a common ground between the two.

“This morning there was a meeting at Delhi between officials of BCCI and ICL to see if there was any common ground. The talks failed and there are no plans for any further meeting,” BCCI secretary N. Srinivasan said in a press release. — PTI
