JCB launches India-specific heavy duty crane

HYDERABAD: JCB India Ltd., a leading multi-product company in construction and equipment industry, launched its India specific heavy duty crane, ‘Liftall’ for South Central and South India here on Friday.

Addressing a press conference, executive vice-president, Sales and Marketing, JCB India Ltd., Arjun Mirdha, said JCB also became the first manufacturer in India to sell 75,000 machines, the highest number of heavy earthmoving equipment in India.

The JCB India is investing Rs.300 crore on doubling the capacity of its Ballabgarh plant and a new plant at Delhi to manufacture 100 ‘Backhoe loaders’ would be commissioned in December.

With a market share of 53 per cent in India and its ‘Backhoe loaders’ comprising more than 75 per cent of Indian market, JCB has three plants in India out of 18 plants across the world.
