Abhijeet in final

NEW DELHI: Abhijeet Tiwari edged past the energetic Christopher Marquis 4-6, 6-4, 7-6(1) in the boys’ semifinals of the DSCL National junior tennis championship at the DLTA Complex here on Friday.

Abhijeet will be challenged by qualifier Ronit Bisht.

The results: U-18: Boys: Semifinals: Ronit Bisht bt Chandril Sood 6-3, 6-1; Abhijeet Tiwari bt Christopher Marquis 4-6, 6-4, 7-6(1).

U-18: Girls: Semifinals: Sweta Kumari Solanki bt Soniya Dayal 1-6, 6-1, 6-2; Nimisha Mohan bt Rishika Sunkara 6-3, 6-0.
