School grant distribution from Monday

MALAPPURAM: The district-level distribution of grant to schools will be launched at Vallikunnu here on Monday. Minister for Local Administration Paloli Mohammed Kutty will inaugurate the distribution of grants at a function to be held at the Open Air Theatre, Vallikunnu, at 4 p.m. Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs M. Vijayakumar will inaugurate Vallikunnu panchayat’s comprehensive sports development programme on the occasion.

Apart from lower primary and upper primary schools, high schools with upper primary classes will also get the government grant awarded through the Sarva Siksha Abhiyan.
