It’s Kamath vs Phalgun

BANGALORE: The top seed Mohit Kamath set up a title clash with the third seeded B.S. Phalgun in the men’s singles event of the Vijayanagar Club’s State-ranking badminton championship here on Saturday.

Kamath defeated Jagdish Yadav 21-14,21-14 while, Phalgun upset the second seed, S.D.S. Krishna 21-14, 17-21, 21-11 in the semifinals.

Elsa Tomy won the senior women’s (40 +) singles title with a 21-14, 21-11 victory over C.M. Kaveri.
