MA History results: The results of the fourth semester MA History exams held in May 2008 have been published. Applications for scrutiny of the answer sheets can be submitted till November 19.

Functional English and public speaking: The interview for admission to the certificate course in functional English and public speaking offered by the Centre for Adult Continuing Education and Extension will be held at the CACEE on October 24. There are a few vacancies for this course. Those who have passed Plus Two/pre-degree courses can apply. There is no upper age limit for applicants. Classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays and the duration of the course is three months. The fee is Rs.1,000. Contact the CACEE office on 0471-2302523.

IPR training: The three-day free training programme in Intellectual Property Rights for college and university students organised by the Dr. Ambedkar chair at the Department of Law and the Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment will be inaugurated on October 23 by Education Minister M.A. Baby at the Senate Chamber.
