HYDERABAD: A delegation under the leadership of Nava Telangana Party president T. Devender Goud left for New Delhi on Sunday to meet leaders of various political parties to drum up support for separate Telangana State. The delegation will call on All-India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha L. K. Advani, Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, Lok Janashakti Party chief Ramvilas Paswan, Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Lalu Prasad and BJP president Rajnath Singh with an appeal to introduce a Bill in Parliament during the winter session itself. To meet PresidentA press release from the party stated that the delegation would also call on President Pratibha Patil seeking her intervention in deciding the statehood.
