Naghmi to step down

Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board’s Chief Operating Officer Shafqat Naghmi, who was one of the most influential figures in the Board headed by Nasim Ashraf, has decided to step down after the appointment of Ejaz Butt as the new PCB chairman.

Naghmi told the Daily Express he planned to communicate his decision not to work any longer in the Board on Monday to the government as he is a serving civil servant. — PTI
