Mystery shrouds man’s death

HYDERABAD: A businessman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence at New Malakpet on Sunday.

Mohammed Moinuddullah Khan (29) bore a grievous injury near the right side of his temple. The incident came to light when the police came to his house after unidentified persons alerted them that Khan was shot dead in his house. The body was sent to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for an autopsy.

Khan sells rexine and foam for making pillows, sofas and mattresses. His family members told police that he suffered an injury when he accidentally slipped on the granite floor while trying to remove the cover of an old jeep. Police said the mystery behind the case could be unravelled only after getting the post-mortem report.
