Air Force wins title

NEW DELHI: Air Force beat Royal Club 83-55 in the men’s final, while St. Stephen’s beat Jesus and Mary 53-47 in the college women’s final of the Royal Club basketball tournament here on Sunday.

In the schoolboys’ final, Montfort beat Father Agnel 74-63.

The results (finals): Men: Air Force 83 (Narender 29, Parveen 21, Joginder 10) bt Royal Club 55 (Rathore 17).

College women: St. Stephen’s 53 (Raspreet Sidhu 24, Charu Jain 10) bt Jesus and Mary 47 (Harjeet 21, Manauti 10).

Schoolboys: Montfort 74 (Vikram 23, Arman 16, Abhishek 16, Deepanshu 14) bt Father Agnel School 63 (Karan 15, Ankur 15).

Best players: Vikram (Montfort); Raspreet Sidhu (St. Stephen’s); Joginder (Air Force).
