Mahe native’s murder shocks kin, people

KANNUR: The murder of a Saudi Arabia-based Malayali businessman near Delhi has shocked his relatives and people in his native place near Mahe.

The bereaved family of K.T. Shameer ( 39) was shocked by the terrible news that reached them on Monday morning.

The Delhi police had announced that he had been murdered while travelling in a taxi car from the Delhi airport on October 10. Robbery was suspected to be the motive of the murder. His brother, Shaheer, also based in Saudi Arabia, had confirmed the identity of the victim after verifying his photograph.

The body of the victim had been buried in Delhi.
