Exide reports 25 % rise in profit

KOLKATA: Exide has reported a 25 per cent rise in its net profit during the second quarter ended September 30, 2008, at Rs. 77.80 crore against Rs. 62.20 crore in the same period in 2007. Net sales during stood at Rs. 900.80 crore against Rs. 688.10 crore. — Special Correspondent
