DMO’s appeal

KOZHIKODE: District Medical Officer A. Baburaj has appealed to the public to take a proactive role in maintaining hygiene and combating infectious diseases. He highlighted the need for public cooperation in health care in the backdrop of reported cases of chikungunya, rat fever, dengue and malaria in the district. Dr. Baburaj highlighted the importance of destroying mosquito-breeding centres, preventing infestation of ratsand proper disposal of wastes.
