Sterlite Industries net profit up 18 %

MUMBAI: Sterlite Industries (India) has reported a net profit of Rs. 1,721 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 against Rs. 1,574 crore in the same period in the previous year. Net sales were Rs. 6,594 crore against Rs. 6,567 crore according to a release.
