765 schoolchildren of Andhra Pradesh Residential School (APRS) screened Women staff of Visakh Refinery donated Rs. 25,000 for the cause VISAKHAPATNAM: A comprehensive eye care camp was conducted for 765 schoolchildren of Andhra Pradesh Residential School (APRS) at Adavivaram near Simhachalam on Saturday. The camp was sponsored by Dhatri, VR Women Force, HPCL, Visakha Refinery and the screening was conducted by Sankar Foundation Eye Hospital. In charge Principal V. Jala Durga Sesha Kumari , who presided over the function organised on the occasion, thanked Dhatri, VR Women Force-HPCL-Visakha Refinery for the gesture. At the inauguration of the camp Visakh Refinery General Manager (Finance) M. Naveen Kumar appreciated the gesture of the women staff of the refinery for donating Rs.25,000 to help the school children. Refinery Senior Manager (Projects) B. Mary Sujatha explained the activities of Dhatri. Sankar Foundation Senior Manager K.S. Vinod Kumar explained the foundation activities and thanked all donor members of Dhatri, VR Women Force-HPCL-Visakha Refinery. APR School Medical Officer R. Jagannatham spoke about eye diseases and the need to take precautions.
