Rs.4-lakh profit netted

TIRUCHI: The Tiruchi Bishop Heber College Employees Cooperative Credit Society netted a profit of Rs. 4.05 lakh during the financial year 2007-08 and disbursed Rs. 1.66 lakh as dividend to its members.

Disclosing this at a meeting, its Special Officer P. Yamuna said the Society, which had been functioning from 1986, had disbursed a sum of Rs. 64.42 lakh as loans to its members during 2007-08.
