Redknapp takes charge of Tottenham

LONDON: Tottenham has appointed Harry Redknapp as its new manager following the firing of Juande Ramos. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy said on Sunday he enticed Redknapp from Portsmouth with the task of “reinvigorating and restoring confidence to a squad of highly talented players.” — AP
