Killed in accident

NAMAKKAL: A youth was killed when a motorcycle hit a bullock cart from behind, near here, on Sunday.

The police said Vijayakumar (30) of Veppanatham colony was returning home after visiting Namakkal town, when the accident took place. He sustained serious injuries and was given first aid at a private hospital. He was admitted to Namakkal Government Hospital for further treatment. But he succumbed to injuries.
