Motorcyclist killed

ERODE: A 57-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a road accident near Bhavani on Sunday.

According to the police, the incident happened near Bhavani New Bus Stand when V. Balasubramanian of Chinnappa- naickenpalayam, Komarapalayam, was riding his moped.

A motorcyclist who was proceeding in the opposite direction hit Balasubramanian, who died of head injuries on the way to the Government Hospital here, the police said.

A case has been registered in this connection.
