Madras High Court judge transferred

NEW DELHI: President Pratibha Patil after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, K.G. Balakrishnan, has transferred Justice K. Kannan, Additional Judge of the Madras High Court as an Additional Judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and directed him to assume charge of his office in the Punjab and Haryana High Court on or before November 6.
