Unidentified body found

ARIYALUR: An unidentified body of a man in his fifties was found in a decomposed state on Tuesday in front of a house near the railway level crossing along the Ariyalur-Perambalur Highway.

On a representation made by the local village administrative officer based on reports by locals that the man was found lying there since Monday afternoon, the Ariyalur police visited the spot and registered a case.
