School and Mass Education Minister Sanjib Sahu announced it while addressing the valedictory session of the two day workshop hosted by the Odia Bhasa Pratisthan.

Arresting the attention of the Minister, former president of the Central Sahitya Akademi and eminent poet Ramakanta Rath, who was presiding over the session, pointed out that the magazine being published by the State Government had played a pivotal role in promotion of a keen interest among the children of the State towards Oriya language.

He further expressed his concern over non-availability of books on ancient Oriya literature and rapidly reduced use of Oriya vocabulary in present times.

At the workshop that was attended by a number of writers, linguists, research scholars and academicians from across the country deliberated on five major issues concerning the conservation and growth of Oriya language.
