SAFF Cup postponed

CHENNAI: The SAFF Cup junior athletics championship scheduled to be held at the Nehru Stadium on Nov. 7 and 8 has been postponed.

Mr. W.I. Davaram, President, Tamil Nadu Athletics Association, said that since most of the countries were “not ready” for the event at this time, the postponement was necessary.

“We received the communication (about the postponement) from Athletics Federation of India late on Tuesday,” he said. The new dates have not been confirmed.
