BSNL announces new offers to subscribers

BANGALORE: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has again come up with a range of offers and discounts on various services to woo more customers on the occasion of Deepavali.

While the offers for mobile subscribers are more or less the same as before with the Sumo Power pack and a special plan for students (open for limited period), the offers on recharge coupons are more varied.

These recharge offers, which are valid till November 1, give additional talk time or value for recharges above Rs. 1,000.

Best deal

The best offer, however, is on the Rs. 5,000 recharge card, where talk time worth Rs. 7,500 and one prepaid general SIM is on offer.

For landline subscribers, three packages are on offer for purchase and installation of new connections.

In the first package, the installation and instrument fee is waived off.

Other offers are concessions on call cards or free call cards worth up to Rs. 100 or FLPP (Fixed line prepaid account card) recharge coupons worth up to Rs. 500.

Offers on broad band connections include waiver of installation fee (only for modem on rent) and 20 per cent discount on plan charges from the date of activation.

Free access offer, valid till October 30, offers free access for 15 days with unlimited download.

Payment kiosks

In addition to 57 payment kiosks at BESCOM payment centres, customers may make payments at five more customer service centres at CTO, Aminity Block, Jayanagar, Koramangala and Indiranagar.
