Rahul tied fifth

Chennai: Rahul Bakshi, winner of last year’s season ending event on the LG India Amateur Tour, played a steady round of one-over-par 73 to end the first round tied for fifth place in the Faldo Series Grand Finals golf tournament, being played at the Costa Do Sauipe Golf Resort in Brazil. He was six strokes behind the leader Andrew Wallace of Scotland who finished the round at a five-under-par 67.
