Karunanidhi congratulates Anand

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Thursday complimented Viswanathan Anand for winning the World Chess Championship title.

In a statement, he said by winning the championship, Anand had brought fame to the country and State at the international level. Last year, he won the title for the second time at the competition held in Mexico, the release added. — Special Correspondent
