P.W.C. Davidar, new IT Secretary

CHENNAI: P.W.C. Davidar, IAS, Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project and Ex-officio Special Secretary to the Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, in place of C. Chandramouli, IAS.

Mr. Davidar has also been appointed as Chairman, Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited, in place of Dr. Chandramouli, holding the additional charge. S. Vijayakumar, IAS, on return from training abroad, has been posted as Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project, and Ex-officio Special Secretary to the Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, in place of Mr. Davidar. S. Karuthiah Pandian, IAS, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Home Department, in place of Mythili K. Rajendran, who has been transferred.

Kumar Jayant, IAS, Executive Director, Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Backward Classes in place of P. Shanmugam, IAS.

The services of C. Umashankar, IAS, Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation, have been placed at the disposal of Arasu Cable Corporation for appointment as Managing Director in place of Dr. Chandramouli.

Sheela Rani Chunkath, IAS, Principal Secretary/Chairperson, Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation, has been appointed as Chairperson and Managing Director of the TIIC.

The services of Sandeep Saxena, IAS, Secretary to the Governor, have been placed at the disposal of the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation Limited for appointment as its Managing Director in place of Dr. Karuthiah Pandian.

The services of S. Nagarajan, IAS, Sub-Collector, Hosur, Kirshnagiri district, have been placed at the disposal of the District Rural Development Agency, Sivaganga district, for appointment as Project Officer in place of J. Kumaragurubaran, IAS, who has been transferred.
