Vizag boxers do well

VISAKHAPATNAM: Boxers from the city have done well in the School Games Federation of India’s State meet held at Hanmakonda (Warangal) from October 25 to 27, winning five gold, three silver and one bronze medal.

V. Simhadri (49 kg weight category), J. Bhaskar (51 kg), S. Ramu (54 kg), P. Srinivas (69 kg) and V. Naresh (81 kg) won gold medals. P. Rajeev Gandhi (57 kg), M. Mahesh (60 kg) and V. Naveen Kumar (75 kg) claimed the silver while K. Chinna Rao (48 kg) took bronze.
