CHENNAI: A six-member gang , which was found planning to commit a major offence, was apprehended by the police in Red Hills here on Thursday. Police said C. Dhanasekharan (26) of Annai Sivagami Nagar, Ennore, who was an accused in a murder case, and five others of the same area were nabbed when they were conspiring to attack members of a rival gang. Deadly weapons were also confiscated from the gangsters. Dhanasekharan had come out on bail from the Puzhal central prison recently. The accused were produced in a city court.
