More contributions to Relief Fund

CHENNAI: Contribution to the Sri Lankan Tamils Relief Fund continued to come in with political parties, VIPs and social service organisations making their contribution to the fund.

Among those who donated for the fund on Friday included Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi’s wife M.K.Dayalu Ammal, State Minister Suba.Thangavelan, State secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) N.Varadarajan and M.G.R.Kazhagam president Rama Veerappan on behalf of their respective parties, IUML MP K.M.Khader Mohaideen, and Anna University Vice-Chancellor Mannar Jawahar.

So far Rs 3.88 crore has been received for the fund. — Special Correspondent
