HYDERABAD: The State government here on Friday accepted several demands of the library employees in the State, resulting in postponement of a strike planned by them from November 1, by a month. This followed detailed discussions between Minister for Rajiv Vidya Mission M. Hanumantha Rao and leaders of the Andhra Pradesh Zillla Grandhalaya Samstha Employees’ Association which represents 3,200 employees working in the 1,500 odd libraries in the State. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
