Diocese’s plan for the homeless

KOZHIKODE: As many as 101 houses would be constructed for the homeless by the Thamarassery Diocese as part of celebrations in connection with the canonisation of Sister Alphonsa, said Thamarassery Bishop Mar Paul Chittilappilly.

He was speaking at a meeting held here in connection with the celebration.

The relics and photo of Sister Alphonsa was carried in procession accompanied by chanting of prayers and singing of devotional songs. The photo was installed at a pedestal at the Bethania Church.
