Ration card copies ready

Kozhikode: Copies of updated ration cards in Kozhikode taluk office have been sent to ration shops concerned, the taluk supply officer said on Saturday.

The cards are for those who had submitted sworn affidavits and were photographed for issuing new ration cards. Cardholders have been advised to correct mistakes, if any, in this copy and submit it to their ration shop before November 7. Names of those above age 8, mentioned in the affidavit, will not be found in this copy. Those will be added later. Those who have taken electricity and LPG connections after they had submitted the affidavit have to furnish that information in the copy of the revised card.
