Portuguese Embassy outsources visa services

NEW DELHI: To bring about greater efficiency in issuing of visas, the Portuguese Embassy in New Delhi has outsourced collection of applications and delivery of visas to VFS Global.

As an outsource partner, VFS Global will provide visa services and assist applicants interested in travelling to Portugal.

Opens on Monday

The new Portugal Visa Application Centre (PVAC), run by VFS Global, will open on Monday.

Under the new system, the PVAC will accept applications within the jurisdiction of the Embassy of Portugal in New Delhi.

The PVAC will also offer prompt and efficient responses to all queries, including telephone and e-mail queries relating to these services.

It will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on all working days except embassy holidays.

Applicants can submit the applications at the Portugal Visa Application Centre, No.15-26 Block E, 2nd Floor, International Trade Tower, Nehru Place in New Delhi.
